My Memories Suite Scrapbooking Software Review

Awhile back I was contacted by My Memories Suite a digital scrapbooking software manufacturer to test their software and write a review.

I did traditional scrapbooking for awhile several years ago, but never really got into it. But digital scrapbooking software, that sounded like something I could get into!

I downloaded my free copy and got to work. They have a cool MyMemories Youtube video showing all the advantages of digital scrapbooking. They even have several free layouts available on their website!

Oh wow! this app is SO cool - within 20 mins, I have created 4 different albums or digital scrapbooks.
This tool is amazingly easy to use and even though there are ready made templates for you to use and enjoy, they are all fully customizable. For instance, I added more snowflakes to one page and removed the label from another, switched pages layouts around and added additional elements from the software library.

 

It is fabulous that I am going back through old photos that have been saved on my computer for years - now I can print these off or email them to family for them to enjoy as well!

Next I am going to try incorporating one of these layouts in my art journalling! Stay tuned for a post on that!

Another Product Review

I've been asked once again, by CSN Stores to do a product review. Yah! I love this website/store. They have EVERYTHING!

K & I were talking the other day about what type of house we would buy if we won the lottery (one of my favourite past times :)) Anyhow, we got talking about furniture for this wonderful house. We both like lots of wood. We designed the kitchen in our minds, and then the bedroom, with gorgeous new wood furniture.

When CSN Stores contacted me, I went window shopping online. I stumbled upon the upholstered headboards section. There are a couple, here and here that I really like.

Of course none of these will be the product I review, unless I do win the lottery, that is :)

I'll keep you posted on the review once I decide.

CSN Store Gift Review

Remember a few weeks ago I was contacted to do a product review for CSN Stores?

Well I finally decided to choose a nice leather tote and a beach tote bag, hoping to be able to use both on my upcoming vacation. I did go over the review budget a bit and paid the difference myself.

Well I have received them both and while they are great, I won't be using either on my vacation.

The leather bag is far too nice to take to the beach. It is nice and large, the only downside is that there is only one small zippered pocket inside - I would have liked more - I think I will have to make a purse organizer for this bag so all my stuff doesn't just get all jumbled up. It is the softest leather - I have to stop petting my purse :) It measures 12 inches high by 15.5 inches wide.



The beach tote bag is also very nice, only FAR larger than I thought it would be. It is HUGE! I could probably fit the kid in there. As we won't have to take our own towels to the beach in Cuba, it will be more than I need as far as a beach bag goes. It will be great for going to the beach while home as we will have to pack 3 beach towels as well as all the other beach paraphanalia.



P.S. That dress I am wearing in the pics is a lil black jersey dress I picked up at Walmart for $8. It is the softest lightweight jersey material and oh SO comfy - I bought it for my trip but have been wearing it and another one I bought in black & white, almost everyday :)

Upcoming product review

Woo hoo lucky me. I have been contacted by CSNStores.com to do a product review for them. I am to pick a product I'd like and do a review.

Simple right? Not so much...you see CSN Stores carry EVERYTHING imaginable.

Of course I have a certain budget to stick to, but if I didn't here are some of the items I'd like to review.
