Happy Canada Day! I know a little late...but still :)
It's only the 2nd week of summer vacation and already I am sick of not having the house to myself - Thursday was Canada day so K had the day off, and took Friday off as well - will be glad when he goes back to work. I just like to be home alone :)
It has been hot here recently - it will be 31C (88F) for the next several days but with humidity, will feel like 40C (104F). The AC will be on and I won't be cooking on the stove. Well it will get me used to the heat for Cuba :)
Some stuff I stumbled across.
McDonalds' menu items from around the world - don't know where in Canada the lobster roll is sold, I've never seen it.
Food Porn Daily - this site has the most scrumptous photos of food imaginable - just click on them to see more, it's just too bad it doesn't have recipes - you have to search for the tiny text in the photo the name of the food.

You'd have to come to Atlantic Canada for the McLobster Roll. It's not that good. I think it's canned lobster and we have the real deal in our backyard.
